Purpose
1. This product has apple brandy aroma and spicy taste. Our country’s GB 2760-86 stipulates that the use of edible spices is allowed, and it is mainly used to prepare apple and banana flavors. Isoamyl alcohol is esterified with sodium nitrite to obtain isoamyl nitrite, which is the fastest acting nitrite short-acting vasodilator. Isoamyl alcohol is also used to synthesize the sedative-hypnotic drugs bromena; amytal. Isoamyl alcohol can also be used as a solvent and a reagent for chemical analysis. Also used in the production of plasticizers; raw materials for photographic pharmaceuticals. Also a component of fuel oil. Used in the manufacture of medicines, photographic medicines, spices, etc., and also as solvents and admixtures for coatings.
2. Used as an extraction agent, such as complex extraction of iron, cobalt, copper salts, and diphenylcarbazide. Used for the separation of lithium chloride from alkali metal chlorides.
3. Used as a raw material for the production of spices, plasticizers, medicines, and photographic drugs, and as a component of solvents and fuel oils.
4. Used as analytical reagents, such as extraction agents and solvents. Also used as standard material for chromatographic analysis. Used in pharmaceutical and other synthetic industries.
5. Used as photographic chemicals, flavors, analytical reagents, and in organic synthesis, pharmaceuticals, etc. [26]
