Recommended uses (Same as IOMP)
Mainly used in the polymerization reaction of acrylic resin, styrene, ABS, processing aid ACR, chloroprene, styrene-acrylic latex, styrene-butadiene latex, etc. Its function is similar to that of n-dodecyl mercaptan, but its smell is much smaller than that of mercaptan.
(1) In the production of acrylic resin polymerization (such as hammer paint), adding this product can effectively adjust the molecular weight distribution of the resin, making the resin have good leveling properties, uniform viscosity, and bright appearance of the paint film.
(2) In the production of plastic processing aids ACR (methacrylate polymerization), adding this product can effectively control the intrinsic viscosity of the product. The methacrylates are polymerized according to process requirements.
