Purpose
1. Mainly used as raw material for nylon 66 and engineering plastics. Secondly, it is used in the production of various ester products, used as plasticizers and advanced lubricants. In addition, adipic acid is also used as a raw material for polyurethane elastomers and as an acidifier for various foods and beverages. Its effect is sometimes better than that of citric acid and tartaric acid. Adipic acid is also a raw material for pharmaceuticals, yeast purification, pesticides, adhesives, synthetic leather, synthetic dyes and fragrances.
2. Adipic acid has a soft and long-lasting sour taste, and the pH value changes little within a large concentration range, making it a good pH regulator. It can be used for jelly powder and solid beverage powder, with the maximum usage amounts of 0.15g/kg and 0.01g/kg respectively.
3. Used as chemical reagents, also used in plastics and organic synthesis.
4.Used as analytical reagents. Used in synthetic plastics and polyurethane foams.
5.Raw materials for organic synthesis, fine chemicals and the manufacture of polymer materials, used to manufacture polyester resin. It is also used in the synthesis of esters such as diethyl adipate, dibutyl adipate and diisooctyl adipate. It is an important raw material for the manufacture of nylon 66 and polyurethane foam, and is also a raw material for the synthesis of medicines and spices. It is also used as a lubricant, pH regulator and in the manufacture of plasticizers, insecticides and adhesives. In the food industry, it is used as a sour agent, buffer and flavoring agent for beverages and fruit juices, and is also used in the preparation of wine and processed cheese. Used in oils and fats to improve oil quality and used as a buffer to prevent browning of most fruits. Due to its low hygroscopicity, it can be used to make solid powdered juice.
6. Reference product for calibration of alkali and potassium permanganate, made of plastics and organic synthesis.
