Properties and stability

Synthesis method

1. Prepared by quaternization reaction of dodecyldimethylamine and methyl chloride.

First add dodecyldimethylamine, ethanol, water and a small amount of alkali (NaOH) to the reaction kettle, and replace the air with nitrogen. Then the temperature is raised to the reaction temperature, methyl chloride is introduced under stirring, and the material can be cooled and discharged after several hours of reaction.

2.Put 430kg dodecyldimethyl tertiary amine into the reaction kettle, add a certain amount of isopropyl alcohol and water, and use alkali as a catalyst , after the air is replaced in the pressure kettle, the temperature is gradually raised and 111kg of methyl chloride is introduced, and the reaction is carried out at a pressure of 0.2 to 0.3MPa for 4 hours. After cooling to normal pressure, the material is discharged and filled. The reaction formula is as follows.

Purpose

1. Can be used as a bactericide and antistatic agent for synthetic fibers. When drilling deep wells in oil fields, it can be used as an emulsifier for high-temperature resistant water-in-oil emulsified mud. It can also be used as anti-sticking agent and release agent in the latex industry.

2.It can be used for sterilization and algae removal, slime stripping and system cleaning in industrial water treatment systems, and has a good sterilization effect. It is used as a bactericide in oil field reinjection water, food, paper and textile industry water, as a bactericidal algaecide in the cooling water system of large chemical plants, and as a slime preventer and isolation agent in the latex industry. It can also be used as an antistatic agent, leather and fiber softener, hair conditioner, latex foaming agent, metal cleaner and rubber emulsifier. When drilling deep wells, it is used as an emulsifier for high-temperature resistant water-in-oil emulsified mud and as a flocculant for water and sludge treatment.

3.Can be used as dispersant, corrosion inhibitor, pigment coating agent, etc. It is also an agricultural bactericide and a bactericidal disinfectant for silkworm houses, silkworm gear, livestock pens, and food machinery and equipment. When using 1231, it cannot be mixed with anionic active substances. As a disinfectant, it cannot be directly added to food and feed.
