Synthesis method
1. Add a measured amount of chloroacetic acid into the reaction kettle, and add NaOH aqueous solution while stirring to dissolve. Then add diethylenetriamine and react at 150~180℃ for 4H to obtain the product.
Purpose
1.EDTA-5Na can quickly form water-soluble complexes with calcium, magnesium, iron, lead, copper, manganese and other ions. It has strong complexing ability for high-valence color-developing metals, so it is widely used in hydrogen peroxide. Bleaching stability synergist: 2 water softener; 3 textile printing and dyeing industrial auxiliaries; 4 benchmark reagents for analytical chemistry; 5 chelating titrant, etc.
2.As a hydrogen peroxide decomposition inhibitor, it is used in textile bleaching and papermaking pulp bleaching processes.
