Properties and stability
Storage method
Store sealed in a cool, dry place.
Synthesis method
When G salt is prepared by sulfonation and salting out of 2-naphthol, part of R acid is also produced as a by-product. The waste acid after separation of G salt is salted out with sodium chloride to obtain R salt. First add saturated sodium chloride solution to the salting out kettle, preheat to 30°C, then add the R acid solution after sulfonation of 2-naphthol, salting out, and separation of G salt, stir for 1 to 2 minutes, let it stand, and use Suction filter. Then wash with saturated sodium chloride solution 3 to 4 times and blot dry to obtain the finished product R salt.
