O-nitrobenzenesulfonyl chloride (see26785) dissolved in glacial acetic acid, 50-60℃ is cooled in cold water and stirred vigorously to form fine crystals of o-nitrobenzene sulfonyl chloride. Add concentrated ammonia under stirring and filter out the product immediately. Yield84%.
