Properties and stability
1. Sensitive to light. Irritating. Soluble in 100 parts of cold water, 35 parts of boiling water, and easily soluble in dilute nitric acid. Toxic, the allowable amount in the air is 001mg/m3. Sensitive to light, should be stored away from light.
Storage method
1. Storage, should be sealed and protected from light.
Synthesis method
1. Prepared by the interaction of silver oxide and acetic acid.
2. Prepared by precipitation reaction using silver nitrate and sodium acetate. The crystals were filtered, washed thoroughly with distilled water, and dried in a vacuum desiccator with concentrated sulfuric acid until constant weight.
3. Prepared by heating hydrated silver nitrate and acetic anhydride to reflux temperature. The product can be recrystallized from glacial acetic acid.
Purpose
1. Used in medicine (to treat eye diseases in newborn babies). Used as analytical reagents, halogen removal, liquid ammonia oxidation, medicine.
2.Chemical analysis reagent, used to precipitate halide ions.Oxidation of liquid ammonia. Also used in the pharmaceutical industry.
