Solubility/Dilution
Desmodur® N3580 BA can be diluted with esters, ketones, aromatic hydrocarbons, such as ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, propylene glycol methyl ether acetate, methyl isobutyl Ketones, cyclohexanone, toluene, xylene, naphtha and mixtures thereof. Generally has good miscibility with the listed solvents, but the storage stability of the prepared solution must be tested. PU grade solvents should be used (water content less than 0.05%). These solvents should not contain reactive groups such as hydroxyl and amino groups. Aromatic hydrocarbons are not suitable as solvents. Polar and non-polar solutions with <65% non-volatile components are recommended as diluents. Desmodur® eco N7300 should not be diluted below 40% solids by weight. Prolonged storage of solvents with low binder content may cause turbidity and sedimentation.

Compatibility
Desmodur® N3580BA can usually be mixed with: aliphatic isocyanates such as Desmodur® N100, N75, N3200, N3390, N3400, N3600, N3800, XP 2410, Z4470 and some polyacrylates . However, the compatibility of ingredients in a formulation should always be tested.
